I give quotes where possible, which is a fixed price, or on certain jobs, for example on old buildings where you never know what you might encounter, I give an estimate which may be liable to change, but the customer is always told beforehand. 

I am also trying to use only water based / enviromentally friendly paints. The whites will NEVER yellow, they are very hard finishes and virtually odour free.
